Karl is the founder and joint director of So To Speak, and inventor of The Hofsö Method
Karl has extensive work experience in auditing and accounting in Norway, business management in Norway, Tunisia, France and Saudi Arabia spanning from trade and construction of building materials to manufacturing industries. One of his first assignments after five years in Tunisia was to oversee and manage a network of licensees of a Norwegian company in the building industry in ten European countries. The next one was to manage that company’s subsidiary in Paris for a few years. Many years later circumstances led him into teaching languages and developing courses for self-study, which in turn led to projects in Germany, China and Kazakhstan plus work with war refugees living in Norway and Sweden.

Karl currently lives in Sweden. He has an MBA from BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo, and a degree in French.
Eric Remøe

Eric is joint director for So To Speak, based in Poland
Eric is educated as an industrial designer at HDK School of Design and Crafts in Gothenburg, Sweden. He specialized in marine protection via SEPS, and later the USCG in Washington DC and USCG in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. He developed the EU Life program, based at the Tjärnö Marine Research station in west Sweden. He has also worked as a consultant at Volvo Torslanda in Gothenburg. He has worked extensively with web design and graphics/documentation. He has worked with Karl Hofsö and So To Speak since the year 2000, preparing language analysis and teaching, founding StS Poland Ltd and developing the Polish arm of the business.
